Coats 4 Kids is an annual Kiwanis project. This year approximately 365 coats were collected. The coat distribution in Cheney at Salnave Elementary of 170 coats on October 16th will be followed by distribution at Sunset Elementary in Airway Heights from 10 to noon on Saturday October 23rd. Airway Heights Kiwanis is planning on helping at Sunset. A new distribution this year will take place at "Feed Cheney" at the United Church of Christ in Cheney on October 25th. Any remaining coats will be given to the Cheney Clothing Exchange.

CKI Tree Planting
On Saturday, October 16th, EWU CKI Club (aka Circle K) planted trees at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge. The challenging part was finding ground without rocks.
